Director, Business Development

The Director, Business Development will create new strategic partnerships with Integrated Software Vendors (ISVs) and Value-Added Resellers (VARs) by enabling them to monetize payments within their respective verticals.  This is an individual contributor’s role focused on identifying, signing, and maintaining relationships with ISV/VAR partners.

This is a remote position.  The ideal candidate will possess a highly motivated, self-starter attitude.

Requirements:

• Generate new strategic partnerships through individual prospecting efforts.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential partners.
• Forecast for strategic growth and maintain an up-to-date sales pipeline.
• Collaborate with the Executive, Business Development and Marketing teams as needed to strategize business development methods, processes, and marketing needs.
• Manage multiple, and at times, overlapping sales processes and integrations.
• Keep organized and detailed CRM records.
• Exceed established sales goals by engaging prospects with a consultative approach, maximizing the benefits of embedded payments.
• Travel may include attendance at trade shows and other meetings as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Verifiable track record of success in the merchant acquiring and fintech space.
• Extensive knowledge of the payment’s ecosystem including integrated solutions.
• Skilled at working with senior stakeholders to deliver winning solutions.
• Highly motivated, goal orientated, and assertive problem solver.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Effective negotiation skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced, ever-changing environment.
